Footprint Tools, a British hand tool manufacturer, approached Vital Spark Creative to collaborate on the design of a new range of hammers targeted at their loyal following of professional users.
The project presented an opportunity to highlight Footprint Tools’ British credentials, so we incorporated a bold ID throughout the range to emphasise the company’s British heritage.
With an oversized grip, distinctive look, anti-vibration nylon core, and a bold colour scheme to differentiate it from others in the market, the range has been well received by the trade and has boosted Footprint Tools credentials as a serious tool brand for professionals.
The success of this project led on to additional work from the client, with Footprint Tools commissioning Vital Spark Creative to design a Bolster Guard to complement the hammer range. Further work has included developing a range of wood chisels for the brand.
