Peak NDT manufactures high end ultrasonic acquisition equipment supplied into the NDT (Non destructible Testing) industry. Vital Spark Creative has been helping Peak NDT to realise its ground-breaking innovative products for eight years now and has built a close relationship with their team.
Peak NDT’s products are high value, low volume items. We therefore avoid tooling, instead choosing to machine the casings from aluminium to ensure quality across the range. The anodized aluminium enclosures provide robust protection to the expensive electronic components housed in Peak NDT’s casings while helping to dissipate heat away from the circuit boards.
In addition, Vital Spark Creative uses SLS 3D printed parts in the casings to protect the expensive electrical components, keep the part count to a minimum and aid the thermal management of the device.
We have now developed a range of market leading products for Peak NDT around a signature ID. All the casings are manufactured using low volume techniques allowing Peak to keep costs to a minimum and stay agile and adaptable as a business – all whilst producing high quality products.
